Trunk Winners & Thank Yous
Trunk or Treat Winners
Thanks so very much to everyone who decorated their trunks and participated in this year’s Trunk or Treat event! We appreciate your creativity and dedication to serving the children and families in our community. We are also grateful to have had the pastors judge the trunks. The winners of this year’s Trunk Decorating Contest included:
1st Place: Noah’s Ark (Kathy Curry)
2nd Place: Carnival (Rendi Bonner)
3rd Place: Country Store (Carla Crowson and the Special Buddies)
Trunk or Treat Volunteer Appreciation
There were over six hundred individuals who attended this year’s Trunk or Treat event. It was a great evening of fun, food, and fellowship! There were many individuals whose passion, energy, and dedication helped make the event an immense success. A large group of volunteers served by setting up, donating, and refilling candy, managing the traffic flow, and parking cars, greeting guests, providing security, preparing, and serving supper, gathering information for the raffle and follow up, helping with the photo booth, and cleaning up after the event. A special thanks to Pastor Matt Langford for hosting the Hoop Zone, to Kathy Curry for “wowing” the children with the fantastic Noah’s Ark display; and to Ben and Angelina Savage, for bringing “farm, fun and music” with his festive and large hay and pumpkin truck. We thank all of you so very much for your generous gift of time and arduous work!
