Hugs from the Library

Hugs from the Library to all who answered our call for donations for the Back-to-School Bash! We trust it helped clear off some shelf space for you but most importantly, on behalf of our church, we were privileged to give many kids lots and lots of books! It was especially heartening to have a box of children’s Bibles to give to appreciative kids! And those kids and their parents were truly grateful. We saw so many polite children! With the “leftovers,” we will continue offering books to kids, and we will begin with our Sunday School classes very soon. Again, your generosity and sharing are making big “differences!” Applause!

School is starting; schedules are changing; and new learning opportunities are beginning throughout SUMC. As always, our Library is right in the middle of it offering so much more than you can imagine. Drop-in and sit for a spell. Enjoy knowing that this gem of a space is very much a part of our church!
