Christmas Eve Supply Pickup

Worshipping Online Christmas Eve?

For those who choose to participate by live stream, we've set up a time for you to come by the church and pick up a bag of supplies for your family, so you can participate fully in the service. You'll receive community kits and candles for your family. This isn't required. You're welcome to use candles you have at home and community supplies from your kitchen.

Outside In-Person Services

5:00 & 7:00pm

What says Christmas more than a cool Florida night, singing with a candle, looking up at the stars. To help make as many people feel comfortable, we're holding our in-person services outside this year. We're bringing in a professional sound crew and a legit outdoor stage. This will be a worship offering worthy of a king.

Grab your lawn chairs, your coffee, and leave your masks at home. This blended service is family-friendly and will be like no Christmas Shalimar has ever had before.

We'll gather in the parking lot of the Family Life Center. Our shuttles will be running to help accommodate anyone who needs mobility assistance.

Online Services

We have three service styles being Livestreamed at 4 times on Christmas Eve. Read below for more details on each style and to see which one is right for you. The services are archived and available all evening. You will be invited to participate in the candle lighting at the end and communion. You can come by the church to get a candle and communion elements, Sunday, December 20 from 2:00-3:30, or use what you have at home.

Our children's ministry led Christmas Eve this year is pre-produced. Don't worry though, we'll still be with you live, as we watch the pastors act out the Christmas story, children sing, and celebrate the birth of Jesus. This service is so much fun for children, and the kid at heart.

5:00 & 7:00pm

This year's service of Lesson and Carols will be pre-produced and live-streamed. It will have many of the Christmas Carols you know and love, along with scriptures for you to meditate on as you prepare for Christ's birth.

Celebrate Christmas in the Freedom style. This service is pre-produced this year, but that doesn't mean you'll have any less of the quality. If you fall asleep before midnight, you can always replay it the next day.

White Christmas Offering

For years, Shalimar UMC has collected a special offering Christmas Eve for 2 organizations that help house children: Children and Chris and the United Methodist Children's Home. Both of these organizations serve our local community.
